This articles really proves that you can write about anything. This one’s about earwax! But if you string up an idea into a sensible premise, you can still come out good.

For instance, teens in their ‘testing the world’ stage have a lot coming at them as they grow up. In this piece the premise points their attention to caution, which makes it come off as parental, and that’s something teens are familiar with. And that’s why this article is not my best writing but, stupid as it is, is a good example of targeted writing.
